This Easy Tomato Bruschetta with Balsamic Glaze is not only healthy to make but quick too! Let this be your next appetizer to serve using fresh garden tomatoes on thinly sliced French bread!
In a sauce pan place 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar over medium heat, bring to a simmer and continue simmering for 5-6 minutes until it is reduced by half.
Remove from heat and pour into a small bowl. Sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
Dice tomatoes finely and place on paper towels to get rid of some of the juices.
Finely chop the red onion, garlic and basil and mix together with tomatoes in a bowl. Add salt, pepper and olive oil and stir to combine.
Top each baguette crisp with a tbsp of bruschetta and a drizzle of the balsamic glaze. Enjoy!
